Do you believe in angels?

I'd like to share an experience I had a few years ago.

My friend Hilda and I had daughters of similar ages and they would often have sleepovers,
When my eldest daughter Sami was 4 years old, she was playing at her house and had a freak accident,
She had been playing Rachel who was 2 years older, they were watching tv in the spare bedroom, which happened to be in the attic.

I went to pick up Sami, she was all excited as Hilda was going to have a BBQ, 'Pleeeease mummy, can I stay' I pondered a while, I had a heavy uncomfortable feeling and kept visualing picking up Sami and putting her in the car.
I said to Hilda, 'Maybe next time, I have a bad feeling and I just want to take her home'
'She'll be fine said Hilda' and I had Sami looking at me with pleading eyes 'pleeeease mummy'
'Ok I said but only for an hour'

I drove home, as I walked in my front door, the phone was ringing, it was Hilda, she was crying.
The words stopped me in my tracks 'Sami's had an accident, she's fallen out of a window, she's in an ambulance going to A&E'
my blood ran cold, I bundled Simon her brother, who was 2, and my husband into the car and drove as fast as I could to the hospital, all the way there I kept saying 'as long as it's not her head or her back I don't care what she's broken.

Apparently, Sami was offered a sweetie in green foil paper, she didn't like it and when she asked were she could spit it out, Rachel replied 'out the window'
Sami remembered pushing the window, it was a low 17th centuary one, it was stiff so she pushed harder, as she did this she flew out, plunged 40 foot onto the pavement below, her head taking the impact.

When we arrived at the hospital, Sami was unconscious, she looked so small on the big trolley, blood was pouring from both of her ears and approximately 8 doctors were around her.
I was told she had multiple skull fractures, had to be transfered immediately to Oxford where specialist neurosurgeons were waiting for her, we were told she may die as a result of her injuries.
My whole world came crashing down.

I travelled behind the ambulance, crying, I couldn't keep up with it, when we arrived at the hospital she had already had her brain scanned, the consultant explained she was in a coma and was in a critical condition.
Simon and I never left her side for 3 weeks. We just read to her, Simon would gaze at her and gently stroke her hand and face.

After 2 weeks, she started to move and groan, but her right arm, leg and face was paralysised.
She couldn't talk, swallow (she was tube fed) or walk.
Gradually, to the amazement of the neurosurgeons, she improved day by day, but still could't talk.
After 4 weeks, we took her home, for the next few months I hardly slept and I would often find Simon snuggled in bed with her, he said he was 'loving her better'

After months of intense physio therapy she began to try to talk, her first word was 'Simon', her voice was slow and robotic like.
We had flash cards for things she may need, a drink, story, bed, toilet etc.
One day she said in her slow robotic voice, I . . .miss . . .my  . . . .friends' she didn't have any friends visit as her injuries looked horrific, so I said 'Do you mean Richard and Simon' (the neurosurgeons)
She shook her head and slowly repeated the same sentence, I said do you mean the nurses? No . . .no she replied, 'I . . . .miss . . . my  . . ..friends' she was now getting frustrated.

Sami, from a very early age was an amazing artist, so I said 'Can you draw them Sami'?
She took the pencil and slowly drew herself in bed, with about 15 tall beings around her bed, their eyes were closed and they had no mouths.
'Who are they Sami' I asked she replied 'My friends'
Over the next few months she would draw these people everywhere, I asked if they had names, she said not.
I asked where they came from, she said 'home'

I asked 'do they talk to you, she replied, 'not with their mouths, and would point to her forehead, later she said they would comfort her with gentle music from their heads.
She said she felt happy with them, she also said she would sit up and watch Simon asI read to her and she would recall events, such as when Simon spilt his drink, or when he asked me if Sami was now a punk rocker! her hair was thick with blood and was sticking up. She'd recall the doctors coming in and putting in more drips into her arms and how she didn't like it but these beings would comfort her.

She said she missed their colourful feelings, I didn't quite understand that but it sounded nice and as she improved, one by one they would go until only one stayed, I asked her where thi last one was and she pointed straight in front of her.

This being stayed for about a year, it went to school with her then one day she said her last friend had gone home.

I believe these beings were her guardian angels and were there to protect her and comfort her.

Sami grew up to be an wonderful young woman, wise beyond her years, the gentlest soul and my best friend, she got A stars in her GCSE's and A levels, she went to university in Sheffield to become a dentist, on the 19th of March 1999, at 19 minutes to 9, she was crossing the road on a pelican crossing when she was hit by a bus overtaking traffic and killed instantly. She was 19 years old.

We had her for an extra 14 years, for that I am eternally grateful, but the feelings of loss, grief and sadness is still very profound, I am comforted by the fact that if those angels were there when she was 4 then they will be with her now.

I love you Sami x

Just a quickie :)

A friend in Canada and a friend in New Zealand have both had shoulder pain, Suzanne, in Canada asked what she could do, she tried a few massage therapists and couldn't find someone as good as me!! thanks Suzi!
My suggestion was a tennis ball!!
It really works wonders in an emergency!
So here's what you do . . . . .
Get your tennis ball, or something similar but no harder.
Lie on your bed or the floor, place the ball under the tight or painful area,
gently lower your shoulder or back onto it and gently move your shoulder over the ball.
The good thing is that YOU control the pressure :)
Goog luck!
Hope it helps you guys that can't get to me :)

Love and light :)

A wounded soul

One of my clients has the most beautiful dogs, he's called Marley,
Marley is an old English sheep dog with the most piercing blue eye and a gentle spirit.
His owner asked me if I could help another old english sheep dog that she was fostering, he had been malnourished, abused, kept locked up, had a matted coat, could barely walk and feared men.
I told her I'd try my best :) Eeeek I thought, I hope I can.

Anyway,  I remember the doorbell ringing, when I opened I saw Carol with a very unhappy looking dog.
He limped in to my hall, he seemed to have great trouble walking, it had been raining and Carol tried to dry one of his back paws, as she lifted it he promptly fell over, I gasped, this dog was so weak. Carol said he show'd no interest in anything and she had never heard him bark before.

I sat with him for a few minutes to 'get to know him' and feel his energy, at first he was panting and appeared apprehensive, I told him he had nothing to fear.
As I began to assess his chakras I found they were all closed down, denoting a physically. mentally and psychologically shut down dog, no wonder this poor chap was so depressed.
I started to realign his chakras, every time I balanced a chakra he became more relaxed then just lay down beside me.

Now I could get to work with my crystals and reiki, his aura initially was very weak and close to his body,
as I began to work on his aura, he relaxed even more much to the suprise of Carol, she said he very rarely lays still.
His energy was beautiful and his aura started to inflate, giving him confidence and peace,
He allowed me to work on him for about an hour after I sensed he had enough, we let him sleep for a while then Carol jingled her keys and he woke up.

He got up with little effort, at first we saw a waggle of his tail, Ah :) good I thought, then he trotted! to the kitchen, Carol squealed 'Oh my goodness'
Just at thet moment Steve my husband came through the door and Arthur barked! Carol squealed again with delight, Steve said 'hello mate' and Arthur interacted well with Steve and his eyes looked bright and 'alive'.

As Carol and Arthur left I heard her shout 'Angie! quick look!' I popped my head out of the door and Arthur was standing on 3 legs peeing against a tree :) it mde me smile :)

Animals are so beautifully receptive to energy healing and it truely was a pleasure to help this once wounded soul to be confident and happier :)

A Quickie

Just a quick blog as it's late and I've got work again tomoro at A&E aka 'Down Pit'!!

It was a very hard shift in A&E today and walked 11,000 steps . . .yeah I'm a proud owner of a pedometer!
Lots of negative and angry people . . .most due to alcohol, soooo I came home about 2 hours ago and gave myself a 'Quickie Reiki treatment, I can now say I feel relaxed and 'In tune' again.
Sometimes when we are bombarded with lots of negativity, stress, anxiety pain etc, it actually sticks to our aura's and can make us feel 'down' because our aura is heavy with the negativity that we absorb from others.

Many of my clients ask me what is energy healing and why does it work.  Basically, I feel, as a spiritual healer, I feel that every living thing is energy with a certain vibration and frequency.  When we are born, all of our systems, organs and energy fields vibrate at the level of unconditional love which is optimal for physical health and well-being. After birth, however, we begin to absorb the negative beliefs of our family and society and to block the natural flow of emotions through our consciousness.
This creates an imbalance in our energy fields, ( our aura's and Chakras) and their frequency or vibration level drops and eventually this creates physical problems, disease, stress and discomfort.  While most of Western science focuses on the symptoms or effects of energetic imbalances, energy healing deals with the root cause of disease, stress and discomfort.   Often it is quicker to clear things energetically through holistic energy healing than through more traditional approaches to healing

So after a quick scan of my aura, some reiki and a bit of Chakra Balancing I'm off to bed :)
N night everyone x Namaste x

What a lovely day :)
As I was my treatment room ready this morning I looked at the frost on the ground, the birds were singing and the sky was a brilliant blue.

My first clients were husband and wife, the most beautiful couple you could ever meet.
They had a special love,a spiritual love, they both came to me for reiki, chakra balancing and crystal healing.
What amazing energies they both had, they were totolly made for each other.

It made me reflect on what is important in life, what is priceless and irreplaceable,. . .  and that is pure love, not only for each othe but for nature, wildlife, the universe, spirituality and the world as a whole.
We only need a certain amount of 'things, material things' in contrast we absolutely need love to make us feel content and at peace.
So cherish your loved ones, appreciate the love you receive and as the Beatles say 'All you need is love'
Now I'm having a snuggle on the sofa with my wonderful husband :) life is good <3

Babies

What a lovely morning!, not only is the sun shining and the birds singing :) I had the pleasure of teaching 2 new mums how to massage their new babies!!
I was rushing round the house first thing, making sure the house was warm and comfy.

The doorbell rang and I recognised the sleep deprivation in the faces of these 2 lovely new mum's with baby seats, bags nappies and the kitchen sink! One baby was 4 weeks old the other 8 weeks :)

I showed them the routine on one of my daughter's old teddy's, each baby, to the suprise of their mum's started to relax, the mum's began chatting to each other as if they were old friends about, birth experiences, the massive transition of being a parent and the benefits of breast feeding.

At the end of the session I had 2 sleeping babies, 2 happy mum's who are going to stay in contact with each other and a lovely smell of new babies in the house.

Now I've got to fly around and get ready to do a shift in A&E!
